La conferenza di ieri tenutasi presso lo Iutav è stata aperta dal presidente dell’Istituto Francesco Di Paolo che ha raccontato la storia della scuola Amerigo Vespucci fondata nel 1958 dalla madre Maria Cerolini. Poi è intervenuta la viceconsole d’Italia a Caracas Jessica Cupellini che ha posto l’accento sull’interesse Italy in the classification of Italian emigration abroad: "We believe in these courses because they offer career opportunities in the world and make closer ties with the motherland."
